Author's Kit - Springer's LNCS Publication
For formating of your paper, please follow the guidelines set out by Springer's LNCS below.
General
- Please prepare your paper using the guidelines and templates in DOC or PDF format, or format downloaded from Springer's LNCS website here, and please read the instructions below.
- For invited papers, please add the line "(Invited Paper)" after the title of your paper.
- Any reference to 'sending files to' and 'Contact Volume Editor' in Springer's instructions should be ignored. Please use the submission instructions on the submissions page instead.
- Failure to meet the formatting guidelines set by Springer's LNCS, could result in your paper not being included in the Proceedings CD.
- Submit Your Manuscript via the submissions page include:
a) Completed copyright form
b) All Source (input) files:
- For example, LaTeX2e files for the text and PS/EPS or PDF/JPG files for all figures.
- Any further style files and fonts you have used together with your source files and that are not generally available at CTAN.
- Final DVI file (for papers prepared using LaTeX/TeX).
- A Final PDF file is required (for reference). A PDF creator can be downloaded for Windows here.
- RTF files (for word-processing systems other than LaTeX/TeX). The texts in all files must be identical.
- Papers will be published in Springer's CCIS series (Communications in Computer and Information Science)
- Please include the following text at the bottom left hand side of the first page of your document. This is the ICST copyright and document/conference identification.

Length Guidelines
Standard Papers and Invited Papers are allowed up to Eight (8) pages, Short Papers are allowed up to Four (4) pages and Work-In-Progress Papers Two (2) pages, including all figures, tables and references. Extra pages will incur additional charges on the registration pages.
