DIGIBIZ 2009 Workshop Program
The evolution of organizations' behaviors and business architectures from their natural to digital forms and the increasing impact of the information and communication technologies (ICTs) on every facet of socio-economic activities are creating new possibilities for business and commerce. Support of this evolution requires convergent, adaptive and interoperable environments that can sustain and aid social networking, business needs and market trends.
DigiBiz 2009 intends to discuss the intersection of electronic commerce, the evolution of business models, the increased liquidity of competition through increased availability of information, and the impact internet redesign for the existing and future businesses.
The DigiBiz 2009 Workshop Program shares aims with the main conference, with a special focus on creating a proper space for discussion and the sharing of experiences between researchers and end users.
The Workshop Program combines both sessions with a tight focus on core middleware technologies, models and approaches, and sessions with a broader, more applied focus, sharing user experiences.
The Workshop Program consists of three workshops:
| W1 - Workshop on Technological
trends in Enterprise Systems for SMEs and large enterprises: Heading
towards the Future Internet |
| W2 - Workshop on Modelling
Business Negotiations Chairs: Volker Hoyer and Jason Finnegan |
| W3 - Comercialise or die!: turning collaborative research into business propositions |
Proceedings of the workshop will be published by Springer Verlag in the Lecture Notes of ICST - LNICST.
