B2B Exhibit and Demo Track
The opportunity to present a visible and viable new idea through an Exhibit or a Demonstration can be achieved through the B2B Exhibit and Demo Track. Your exhibit may showcase a new developed model which is poised for market or still in the model process. Your demonstration, which supports human interaction or electronic interaction through machines, will show how virtual or realtime issues can be solved and/or analyzed.
Current negotiation platforms, such as Business-to-Business electronic marketplaces and Internet trading systems are centrally managed, and not fully trusted by SME's and/or too expensive and hence not widely used by European SME's today. The Open Negotiation Environment (ONE) project will solve these problems, thanks to an open trusted self-learning negotiation platform for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SME's). In contrast to existing negotiation platforms such as Ebay in the B2C market or Ariba in the B2B market, the ONE platform provides an open negotiation platform without a central governance cockpit where complex negotiation workflows and ongoing processes would be administrated.
During DigiBiz, the ONE project will offer the possibility to test an innovative negotiation environment that is affordable, open, not centrally controlled, and supports the sharing of knowledge via flexible security and trust policies. By using the ONE environment all business players (SMEs, Corporations and others) will benefit from reduction of time to market and transaction costs. ONE will also provide wider ecosystem benefits in terms of an increase in the number of participants; better negotiation performance and collaboration while creating new business opportunities.
CONTRACT is a research project funded by the European Commission in the context of the 6th Framework Program. The aim of the project is to develop frameworks, components and tools which make it possible to model, build, verify and monitor distributed electronic business systems on the basis of dynamically generated, cross-organisational contracts. Such contracts underpin formal descriptions of the expected behaviours of individual services and the system as a whole.
During DigiBiz CONTRACT will offer the opportunity to test innovative solutions addressing the need for sound contracts definition. CONTRACT will give the possibility to create new formal models and practical tools for use of dynamic contractual agreements and identify milestones in monitoring of contracts implementation and execution
